SUNDAY SCHOOL for ages 3K-6th grades began September 15 and runs through May 17, 2020. Children gather in the sanctuary at 9 a.m. and leave for their classes after children's message, and meet up with parents/guardians in the narthex at 10:15 a.m. Note (3.16.2020): Sunday School will not be held until the Marshall schools resume.

Classes are PreK-Kindergarten; 1st and 2nd grades; 3rd and 4th grades; and 5th and 6th grades. In the second half of the year 5th graders will study for their First Communion, while 6th graders will learn about life in the church and how to become regular worship helpers. Questions? Just ask.

You may register your child(ren) at church anytime or by downloading this registration form. When you arrive you 'll also be asked to complete a photo release form and receive a copy of our Child Protection Policy.

CONFIRMATION for those in 7th and 8th grades extends from September - May, meeting Wednesdays from 5:15-6:15. See the Spring 2020 schedule here. Confirmation Sunday is May 3 at 9:00 a.m. Eighth-grade parents, please see information about the Confirmation Essay and selected verses here.

Note: Confirmation will be held online until the Marshall schools resume. Instructions will be posted here and mailed to all parents.

Our two-year program alternates between study of Martin Luther's Small Catechism in one year and the Old and New Testaments in the other. On the first Wednesday of each month we focus on selected subjects in a yearlong workbook. The class format centers on asking lots of questions and lively discussion.
